Turkey

In 13 century, on the remnants of the split state of Seljukian Turk people emerged a new state with Osman the Emperor at the head. United under his rule, the tribes began their conquests. They managed to capture small parts of Asia, then invaded Balkan peninsula and soon Bulgaria, Serbia and weakened Bysanty were under their rule. Osman armies strived to conquer larger territories. About second half of XV century they conquered Crimea, later Armenia, Mesopotamia, Egypt, part of Georgia, Syria and Aravia. As the Osman empire grew stronger, its numerous armies rushed towards the heart of Europe. With emperor Suleiman the First in command, they invaded Hungary. Osman troops entered Austria and soon its capital Vienna was under siege. There had been multiple invasions on the territory of Ukraine and Poland. The oppressed peoples were forced to pay enormous fees. People had been also forced to toil at construction of churches and fortifications. Taxes were also collected in human equivalent. Families were taken their little boys, the healthiest ones. Those children were trained to ranks of infantry, which made the core of the army. There also was a feudal cavalry. Together these regiments comprised an enormous army, which represented various peoples and nationalities. A lot of regiments were irregular.
